Indie Author of the Week!

DeAnna Kaye Fields

DeAnna Kaye Fields is finally pursuing her dream of being an author. She is a Christian first, wife second, and mother third, with a deep love for closed-door romance, small-town charm, and stories that feel like home. She lives in Hillview, Kentucky, with her husband. She has three grown daughters, one still currently at home, and two dogs. Her Shepherd's Grove stories are inspired by small-town life in places like Bullitt County. She's hopelessly addicted to Coca-Cola, blind dates in a book, mystery bags, and happy little surprises.

PenCrafters Mentorship Program on Monday evenings over Zoom starting at 7PM for eight consecutive weeks. September 14th through November 2nd.

PenCrafters is designated for writers who want more than encouragement. It’s for writers who want access. This mentorship connects you with eight experience mentors, each offering a distinct perspective and specialty within the writing and publishing world. That range means you are not receiving a single opinion or being guided down one narrow path. Instead, you gain insight across the entire journey of becoming a working author. Each week features a one-hour presentation led by a different mentor, providing direct access to industry professionals. All sessions are recorded and available for later viewing. Our mentors include authors, publishers, editors, publicists, agents, and owners of writing conferences, offering guidance spanning craft, publishing strategy, visibility, and long-term career sustainability. Participants will also retain access to the mentors beyond the program. Extending the value well past the final session. Through PenCrafters, you will learn from mentors with experience in:

  • Drafting and revising manuscripts.

  • Traditional and independent publishing.

  • Editing and development feedback.

  • Book marketing and visibility.

  • Working with an agent.

  • Building sustainable, long-term author careers.

This is not a passive course or a generic workshop PenCrafters is an intentional mentorship experience built to provide clarity, confidence, and a forward motion. Participants are limited to ensure mentors can give meaningful attention and maintain a focused, supportive environment. If you’re ready to stop second-guessing, learn from professional across every stage of the writing and publishing process, and move your work forwards with purpose. PenCrafters is for you.
