A small, intentional afternoon tea experience inside From the Ground Up Books in Shepherdsville. Three tiered trays, freshly brewed tea, and two unhurried hours to enjoy them. Twelve seats per sitting. One sitting per day at three o'clock.

Enjoy a freshly baked scone served with butter, preserves, and cream alongside your choice of tea. Available during regular store hours at both our La Grange and Shepherdsville locations.

Perfect for a casual visit, a quiet afternoon with a book, or catching up with friends.

Our signature Afternoon Tea is a traditional tea experience featuring tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones with butter, preserves, and cream, assorted sweets and desserts, and tea service in a charming tea room setting.

Tea sandwiches may include favorites such as cucumber, egg salad, chicken salad, pimento cheese, and other seasonal offerings. Selections vary from one tea service to the next.

Afternoon Tea is $37.50 per guest and is offered at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on select dates at both locations.
