The Official Publication of From the Ground Up Books
Welcome to The Signal
Welcome to the very first issue of The Signal!
Over the years, From the Ground Up Books has grown into so much more than a bookstore. Between Pinkies Out Tea Parlor, author events, Weirdos in the Wild, Salt River Current, workshops, community events, and everything else happening, it became clear that we needed one place to bring it all together.
That's why we created The Signal.
Every Sunday you'll find bookstore news, tea updates, upcoming events, new books, community stories, and a look behind the scenes at everything happening throughout the FTGUB family.
Whether you found us because you love books, afternoon tea, local history, the paranormal, or simply enjoy supporting small businesses, we're honored you're here.
Thank you for joining us for this very first issue. I can't wait to see where this journey takes us.
Happy reading,
Lynn Tincher

What started as a conversation between curious minds has grown into an incredible journey through the strange, the mysterious, and the unexplained.
We're excited to announce that Weirdos in the Wild is preparing to release its 50th episode!
Over the past year, we've explored haunted locations, local legends, unsolved mysteries, folklore, and the stories that keep us asking, "What really happened?"
Reaching fifty episodes is a milestone we're proud to celebrate, and we're grateful to everyone who has listened, shared an episode, or joined us on the adventure.
If you haven't tuned in yet, now is the perfect time to start. You can listen to Weirdos in the Wild wherever you get your podcasts.
Thank you for being part of the journey. Here's to the next fifty episodes. Stay curious!
Until Next Sunday...
Our hope is that The Signal becomes your favorite Sunday tradition, a place to discover great books, celebrate community, learn something new, and maybe even be inspired to put the kettle on and slow down for a while.
Until next Sunday...
Happy Reading,
