Stephen Zimmer

Stephen Zimmer is an award-winning author, editor, podcaster, and publisher based out of Lexington, Kentucky.  A writer in several genres of speculative fiction, Stephen currently has 33 books in print.  The editor-in-chief of Seventh Star Press, a small press with multiple imprints, Stephen founded and co-directs The Imaginarium Convention, a 12th year annual convention held in Louisville, Kentucky for writers and storytellers of all genres. 

Stephen is also the co-host of the weekly Star Chamber Show live podcast, hosted on PodBean.

He is an active member of the Bluegrass Writers Coalition, the Kentucky State Poetry Society, and the Chicago Writers Association!

Velisa was an avid reader as a child and young adult.  It was a way to escape and go anywhere her heart desired.  Throughout her journey, she navigated moments of challenge and triumph, always striving to grow and adapt.  Her memoir reflects the events, relationships, and passions that have defined who she is. 

He shares her story in hopes of inspiring, comforting and resonating with those who decide to read it.  Her life… honest, heartfelt and unique. 

She is a proud momma of two.  And she will talk back when spoken to sideways.  Her happy places are hanging out with her boys, at the beach, and riding her motorcycle.

This event is open to all who are interested in writing; from amateur to professional, you'll find benefit in this workshop.

Typically, this is scheduled the third Sunday of each month, but with the holidays, we are scheduling earlier this month.

Book Signing with Robert Prather

December 20, noon till 5PM, at our Shepherdsville location.

Robert Prather is the author of the award-winning book, The Strange Case of Jonathan Swift and the Real Long John Silver. He has been featured on the popular series — History Channel’s, “America’s Book of Secrets,” and Travel Channel’s, “Code of the Wild.” In 2021, Tim Farmer Productions produced a full-length documentary on his work that was featured on KET. Robert and his wife Karen live in Kentucky.
